Advanced search in companies

- it is determined for more detailed specification of conditions for the company search
- to search by:

• company name
• categories
• products and services

- selection can be limited or be more specified by:

• city (town)
• selection of location
• legal form selection
• selection only companies with e-mail
• selection only companies with webpages
• their mutual combination

- in detailed display of a company there are given with the company following information on the company

1) Search by companys name

Set the company name, or its part into the field "Company name".

Click the key "Search" and the application subsequently displays the alphabetic list of the found companies. First there are displayed, highlighted, the companies providing more information about themselves, then there follows the alphabetic list of the other companies. Clicking to the company name there will be displayed the detailed information on the company.

If the company has an icon by its name:

- you can immediately send an e-mail to the company
- making a click you get to web sites of the selected company
- making a click you get displayed company ads
- making a click the company`s location is displayed on the map

2) Search by categories

Set a part of the name of the category (e.g. a machine, window or a car) into the field "Category" and in the following window you select corresponding category, by which you want to search the companies.

* for multiple selection of categories press and hold the key Ctrl and making a click of the mouse you select the required categories

Making a click on the button "Next" the selection of companies is performed according to the criteria set by you. First there are displayed, highlighted, the companies providing more information about themselves, then there follows the alphabetic list of the other companies. Clicking to the company name there will be displayed the detailed information on the company.

3) Selection narrowing by City (town)

Set the name of the City (town) or its part (from any name position) into the field "City (town)".

It is a limiting criterion and it is not possible to search independently - it must be used in combination with "category", "company name" or "products and services".

4) Selection narrowing by location

Select the required Location in the field "Location".

It is a limiting criterion and it is not possible to search independently - it must be used in combination with "category", "company name" or "products and services".

5) The selection limitation as to legal form

Select the required legal form in the field "Legal form".

It is a limiting criterion and it is not possible to search independently - it must be used in combination with "category", "company name" or "products and services".

6) Search by products and services

Many companies listed in the "Obchodni adresar" completed their data by so called "search words". These are such words by which the company specifies its activity, products and services. If you want to focus your selection on the companies providing a concrete product (type, product brand) or services, use the search field "products and services". For focusing your selection more accurately, we recommend you to fill in the "category" field at the same time.

The search field "products and services" make your selection narrower and help to specify the search results.

7) Selection narrowing by "Only companies with e-mail"

Making a click on the check box "e-mail" you select the companies, which have in their profile one or more e-mails.

It is a limiting criterion and it is not possible to search independently - it must be used in combination with "category", "company name" or "products and services".

8) Selection narrowing by "Only companies with webpages"

Making a click on the check box "WWW" you select the companies, which have in their profile one or more WWW sites.

It is a limiting criterion and it is not possible to search independently - it must be used in combination with "category", "company name" or "products and services".

INFORMATION ON THE COMPANY

Pictographs description:

In the detailed display the following information about company is given (if it is known for the respective company):

• company`s logo
• company name
• address
• telephone
• fax
• mobile
• e-mail addresses - making a click you can immediately send an e-mail to the company
• web pages - making a click to the reference (if it is active) you get to the corresponding web site of the selected company
• contact person - the name and job position
• company`s ad - it is automatically displayed after the entry into company`s detail
• category - the list of categories where the company is classified, beside each category there is given a list of key words of the appropriate category
• other data - the reference to more detailed information on the selected company, making a click you get more specific information, e.g. marketing, economic or export
• search other companies within the category - the list of categories where the selected company is classified after making a click to any of the categories, all companies classified under the selected category are displayed

Description of links:

Back to list	- previously selected list of companies found is displayed
New search	- searching form, where you can set new selection criteria, is displayed
Print out company	- a window with a graphically designed detail of the company which is determined for printing
Add company	- the form for filling in the data on the company - See the procedure of adding a company into the database

The procedure of adding a company into the database

1. First try to search your company if not already given in the database
2. Have you not found your company in the database? Click to:

   Add company

3. Fill in the data about your company by a gradual filling single tabs Identification data, Contact information, Contact persons, Categories and Update
4. Complete categories of your company - click to "Add a new category" and search the corresponding category:
   • by alphabetical order and mark it with making a click of the mouse in the list of categories
   • set a part of the name of category into the field "Searching in all categories by part of the name" and make a click to the "Search". In the left window the list of categories corresponding to the searched expression is displayed
   * for multiple selection of categories press and hold the key Ctrl and making a click of the mouse you select the required categories. After marking the categories required, click to the button >>, by which the transfers of categories into the list selected occurs (right window). In case you selected all categories required, click to the button Send, which will transfer the categories selected into the searching form.
5. Click to the button "Set other data"
6. For sending all the set data you make a click to the button "Send all the information"
